Our shooting times are 6.30 til 9pm during the summer months (April to October) usually Monday, Wednesday, Friday and weekends
Our club is primarily a target archery club and we shoot recurve and compound bows, as well as the traditional longbow.
New members are always welcome and are required to have completed an approved GNAS beginner’s course either at the club or elsewhere. This is a requirement before anyone can shoot or be accepted as a full member of any club.
Greenman is affliated to the following governing bodies;-
The Grand National Archery Society (GNAS) the governing body of the sport in the U.K. They provide an administrative function and cover clubs and archers with insurance.
The Northern Counties Archery Society (NCAS), which covers Yorkshire, Durham and Northumberland, Cumbria, Lancashire and Cheshire and represents our region on G.N.A.S. Committees.
The Yorkshire Archery Association (YAA), which governs the sport within Yorkshire. It has a committee made up of members from clubs within the region
We are also members of the Doncaster and District Archery Association which represent the local clubs in the South Yorkshire area.
